There’s some people who go to Disney World for the rides. Some go for the shows. Some go for the magic. And others… we go for the food. You can find some delicious food in Disney World, and I’m here to show you where.

It’s undeniable that Disney Parks have some of the best food of any amusement parks. Not only is it actually edible, but there are so many options to choose from and specialties that make Disney food an ultimate part of the experience. Aside from the tickets, food will probably be what you spend the most money on while at the park. Let’s make sure your money is well spent with this list of the absolute best food in Disney World. Don’t worry, I’ll also share some of the food items that aren’t worth the money too.

Disney World is split into four parks, making the food options that much more vast. You can find food of different flavors and themes making each meal or snack unique. Some of the sit-down dining experiences require advanced reservations that can be made up to 60 days in advance of your visit. Make sure to book them as soon as you can as many of the popular restaurants book up quick.

Absolute Best Food in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom:

3-Course Meal
Where: Be Our Guest Restaurant
Rating 10/10

Be Our Guest Restaurant is the best of the best Disney World Restaurants. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is *chef’s kiss*. If you are a Beauty and the Beast fan, or even if you aren’t, you’ll love dining in the Beast’s castle with decorations reflecting the movie. The beast even makes special appearances throughout the meal making the experience that much more fun with children.

While the dining experience was great, the food is what I was there for, and it did not disappoint. You can choose an appetizer and entrée for your meal, then you will get a trio of their desserts. You can’t go wrong with most things on their menu, but if I were to recommend one choice for the meal, it would be the lobster bisque appetizer and scallop entrée. If seafood isn’t for you, you can’t go wrong with the charcuterie board and filet mignon. For desert, make sure to try the gray stuff, it’s delicious… yes, I had too 🤦🏻‍♀️

Cheshire cat tail made up of a croissant filled with cream and chocolate and topped with colorful frosting and pink slushie drink with whipped cream and sprinkles
All Mixed Up Slushy
Where: Chesire Café
Rating 7.8/10

The All Mixed Up Slushy mimics a strawberry slushy with some added sprinkles. If you are visiting Disney World on a hot day, it’s the perfect thing to cool you down.

Cheshire Cat Tail
Where: Chesire Café
Rating 8.2/10

The Cheshire Cat Tail was on a lot of lists of must-try food at Disney World, so I figured I should, well, try it. Basically, it was like a chocolate croissant with a fun twist… get it?? It’s nothing too special, but something yummy to have as a morning snack.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle
Where: Sleepy Hollow
Rating: 5.8/10 (Don’t recommend imho)

I’m not going to lie, I was excited to try this snack. Chicken and waffles? What’s not to love. Well, I’ll tell you, it was disappointing. The flavors of sweet and spicy were not quite there. The waffle was soggy, and the piece of chicken was so small that most of the time I was eating the waffle by itself. Now, this may have been a one-off situation, but that was my experience.

2 spring rolls from adventure land in Magic Kingdom in Disney World
Adventureland Spring Rolls
Where: Adventureland Spring Roll Cart
Rating 7.5/10

I love a good spring roll, and these ones were pretty good. There were two options for flavors, either cheeseburger or pepperoni. I tried both and don’t regret it.

Corndog Nuggets
Where: Casey’s Corner
Rating: 8/10

As a Californian, I am accustomed to Disneyland, not Disney World. As such, I am well-versed with the phenomenal giant Disneyland corndogs. I had no idea that these Disney corndogs were not also native to the Disney World Park. So, imagine my surprise (and slight disappointment) when I didn’t see or smell the famous corndog cart on Mainstreet U.S.A.

Well, Disney World’s alternative is not something to dismiss. Casey’s Corner serves up some delicious miniature corndogs that give Disneyland’s corndogs a run for their money. Now, my heart will always be with Disneyland corndogs, but that didn’t keep me from having the mini corndogs from Casey’s Corner twice during my trip.

Hot dog with strawberry bacon jam and funnel cake pieces in Disney World
50th Celebration Hot Dog
Where: Casey’s Corner
Rating: 6.8/10

Now this specialty is a unique offering for Disney World’s 50th celebration in 2021. And when I say unique, I mean it. This “delicacy” is a hot dog topped with strawberry-bacon jam, funnel cake pieces, and powdered sugar. Yes, it is as weird as it sounds. But, no, it is not as disgusting as it sounds. If you are interested in trying unique foods with an eclectic mix of flavors, give it a go! If not, stick to the mini corndogs.

Raspberry-Pineapple Swirl Dole Whip
Where: Aloha Isle
Rating: Solid 10/10

Did you even go to a Disney park if you didn’t get Dole Whip? At Disneyland, I usually go for the plain ole pineapple dole whip, but the raspberry pineapple swirl is where it’s at. This is definitely a MUST HAVE when at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey Cereal Treat
Where: Main Street Confectionary
Rating: 7/10

What more can I say, it’s a Mickey Mouse shaped rice-krispie (AKA cereal, because they can’t use the brand Rice-Krispie) treat covered in chocolate and topped with m&ms. It’s a delicious, fun treat, but nothing too “WOW”.

Must-Try Food in Disney World’s Epcot

German Buffet
Where: Biergarten Restaurant in Germany
Rating: 6.7/10

I was excited for this restaurant mainly for the theme, and because German food is delicious. The ambiance did not disappoint. When sitting inside, it feels like you are sitting outside in a small German village. Every hour or so, performers come out on the stage to put on a show and play German music. The vibe is upbeat and fun, lending to a unique dining experience.
The food, on the other hand, is not on par with the ambiance. The food is buffet-style with plenty of different options, but the food quality didn’t match that which you can experience at other restaurants in the parks.

Savory crepe, or gallette, with ham on top from France area in Epcot, Disney World
Savoyarde Gallette
Where: La Creperie de Paris in France
Rating: 7/10

To be honest, I had no idea what a gallette was until I tried one here. It is interesting and definitely worth trying for those who are looking for something savory rather that a sweet crepe. This one in particular was stuffed with ham and cheese making it a great meal or snack for anytime of the day.

Pomme Crepe
Where: La Creperie de Paris in France
Rating: 7/10

If you are looking for a sweet, French treat, look no further than the Pomme Crepe which has caramelized apples and caramel beurre salé. There are other great sweet crepes available too, but I like caramel and apples, so this one seemed like a safe bet!

Beef empanadas with crema and a side of street corn in Mexico area of Epcot in Disney World
Empanada de Barbecoa
Where: Choza de Margarita in Mexico
Rating: 8/10

The Empanadas de Barbacoa are filled with beef and topped with chipotle sauce, Mexican cream, and queso fresco. It also comes with a side of street corn, which is my favorite! They are a must try if you are looking for a delicious snack.

Fiesta Frozen Margarita
Where: Choza de Margarita in Mexico
Rating: 9.2/10

I’m not sure what it is about Disney margaritas, but man they sure are delicious. The Fiesta Frozen Margarita is particularly unique, because it has classic lime, strawberry, and mango flavors all in one drink. Of course, if mixing flavors isn’t your thing, you can order a margarita with a single one of these flavors.

Korma Chicken covered in yellow curry and chickpeas from India Pavilion in Epcot, Disney World
Korma Chicken
Where: India Pavillion
Rating: 7.5/10

Not bad, not bad at all. I don’t eat a lot of Indian food, but I thoroughly enjoyed the korma chicken. With that said, if you are like me and aren’t used to those types of spices, I recommend sharing with someone to start out!

Pork Egg Rolls
Where: Lotus Blossom Café in China
Rating: 8.5/10

Deliciously, crispy and golden. These pork egg rolls are amazing. So much so, that we got a second order! If you already know you are a fan of egg rolls, make sure to grab some of these to snack on.

Rating: 8.7/10

I thought the egg rolls were good, but the chicken potstickers were even better

Norwegian trollhorn pastry with filled with orange cream and covered in sugar crystals from Epcot, Disney World
Troll Horn
Where: Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway
Rating: 9/10

If you don’t know what a troll horn is (I didn’t), it’s a Norwegian pastry in the shape of a horn filled with orange marmalade cream. I was a little concerned about the orange marmalade cream, as I’m not a big fan of orange flavor, but the orange flavor was not overbearing whatsoever.

Pao de Queijo
Where: Brazil Pavilion
Rating: 7.8/10

Pao de queijo translates to bread of cheese (or cheese bread). And what’s better than bread and cheese? Just a warning, although it’s not a huge serving, it’s heavy. I couldn’t finish my order even though it was tasty.

Crispy Pork Belly
Where: Brazil Pavilion
Rating: 7.2/10

The crispy pork belly wasn’t even close to my favorites of the food I had in Epcot, but it’s nothing to scoff at either. If pork belly is your thing, it’s worth a try. If you could care less about pork belly, I’d pass it up and save your money and appetite for something different.

Kalua Pork Slider
Where: Hawaii Pavilion
Rating: 8.2/10

Disclaimer: I am a sucker for Hawaiian rolls, so this slider was super tasty to me. It was a perfect proportion of pork to roll, and the sauce was the cherry on top.

Soy-Glazed Sticky Ribs
Where: Swanky Saucy Swine
Rating: 8.6/10

These ribs have the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The only other thing I can say is that they are yummy 😊

Braised Beef Poutine with gravy, cheese curds, and fries in Canada area of Disney World
Braised Beef Poutine
Where: Canada Pavilion
Rating: 8.5/10

Wow! That’s one of the few words I can use to describe the Braised Beef Poutine. If you don’t know what poutine is, it’s a Canadian “delicacy” that consists of french fries topped with gravy, cheese curds, and in this case, braised beef. This is the ultimate comfort food. Warning though, aside from “wow”, one of the other few words I can use to describe it is “heavy”. This is definitely a dish I recommend sharing with another person; I couldn’t finish my serving.

Apple Crumble Tart
Where: Canada Pavilion
Rating: 9.5/10

This was one of my absolute favorite things to eat in Epcot. I never expected a dish from Epcot’s Canada to be one of my favorites (no offense Canada), but the apple crumble tart was phenomenal. I recommend not missing this one if you enjoy your sweets.

Fried chicken, fork tender pot roast, and traditional meatloaf with all the fixin's from Disney World's 50s Prime Time Cafe.
Beer-Battered Onion Rings & A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes
Where: 50s’ Prime Time Cafe
Rating: 8.7/10

50s’ Prime Time Café makes it feel like you stepped back into the 50s with retro tables, TVs, and props. The ambiance is what makes this dining experience special, but the food is also not half bad! Zac and I shared an appetizer of onion rings and the sampling of mom’s favorite recipes. The sampling includes golden-fried chicken, fork tender pot roast, and traditional meatloaf with all the fixin’s. It tastes like some good old fashioned homestyle cooking.

Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich
Where:
Rating: 8/10

Can you even go to Disney World without getting food shaped like Mickey Mouse?? The answer is no (okay, I mean you could, but why would you?). The Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich is a classic. It’s nothing special, but it’s super satisfying on a hot day.

Where: Ronto Roasters
Rating: 8.3/10

I was pleasantly surprised with the size and taste of the Ronto Wrap. It’s definitely satisfactory whether you want it as a snack or a meal.

Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup
Where: Woody’s Lunchbox
Rating: 7.8/10

Before you ask, yes, I’m a child. And I absolutely love my grilled cheeses with tomato soup. The one at Woody’s Lunchbox is nothing fancy (not like I expected it to be), but it hit the spot.

Tater-tot nachos, or totchos, with cheese and sour cream from Woody's lunchbox in Disney World
Totchos
Where: Woody’s Lunchbox
Rating: 7.5/10

If you weren’t able to derive what totchos are from the name, they are tater tot nachos (AKA tater tots topped with chili, corn chips, sour cream, cheese, and chives). It’s a little unconventional, but I would 100% have it again.

(Halloween) Lunch Box Tart
Where: Woody’s Lunchbox
Rating: 4/10 (This is even generous)

The Lunch Box Tart is something that I saw online as a must-try food while at Disney World. There are different flavors available, but I happened to be there when they had their special Halloween one. Let me tell you, it’s disappointing. The internet hyped it up as a delicious, fancy PopTart. Well, regular poptarts are ten times better. The lunch box tart was dry and not very flavorful. It is easily the worst food/snack I had while at Disney World. Now that I read back over that review, it sounds a little harsh, but tbh, sorry, not sorry.

Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs with Mac and Cheese
Where: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Rating: 8/10

In my options, the ribs were pretty good, the mac and cheese was better

Carrot Cake Cookie
Where: Trolley Cart Cafe
Rating: 9.5/10

If I were to describe this treat in three words, it would be soft, fluffy, and decadent. It’s a cloud of yumminess (for lack of better descriptive words).

Must-Try Food in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom:

Rainforest cafe nachos with beef, tomatoes, beans, cheese, sour cream, and salsa at Animal Kingdom in Disney world
Nachos
Where: Rainforest Cafe
Rating: 7.5/10

Rainforest Café isn’t particularly special to Disney World. However, it is a decent option if you are looking for a lower-priced sit down restaurant to eat at while at Animal Kingdom. Zac and I ordered the nachos to share as our meal, and it was ginormous. It was plenty of food to satisfy both our hungers, and we didn’t even finish it.

Scar Red Velvet Cupcake
Where: Flame Tree Barbecue
Rating: 9.5/10

I love my sweets, and I can say that the Scar red velvet cupcake was one of the best red velvet cupcakes I’ve ever had. It was definitely my top sweet treat at Animal Kingdom. Just a warning, the cupcake is huge. I’d recommend getting forks and sharing it with someone like a piece of cake.

Lemon cupcake with lemon frosting topped with a special 50th anniversary stamped piece of chocolate.
50th Anniversary Lemon Cupcake
Where: Flame Tree Barbecue
Rating: 4.5/10

The lemon cupcake is not nearly as good as the red velvet cupcake. Like I’ve said before, I love my sweets, but this cupcake was WAY too sweet. Zac and I got a few bites in and had to throw away the rest before we got sick from how sweet it was.

Baked Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork
Where: Flame Tree Barbecue
Rating: 8.5/10

Anything with mac and cheese gets a leg up in my book. This snack is mac and cheese topped with pulled pork, an onion ring, and barbecue sauce. What’s not to love??

Now, if you didn’t think Disney World is a foodie destination, I hope you realize it now. Disney World food is an experience that everyone should budget for. If I missed anything, share them in the comments!
